Having experience as a Linux administrator for more than 3 years in installing managing and troubleshooting performance related issues on around 4000 servers. Having strong knowledge on AWS service like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, ELB, EBS, NACL, Security.
Working on Incident & Change Management issues in Linux (Sev 1, 2,3)
Managing & Resolving disk space issues using Logical Volume management
Creating daily health check reports of servers, storages.
Planning & Resolving the Issues within the specified downtime.
Scheduling jobs using Crontab and at jobs.
Responsible for adding, creating new users, groups and setup home directories
and appropriate access restrictions to software and directories & files using
access modes.
Managing & Resolving disk space issues using Logical Volume management
Having Experience in VMWare managing virtual server
Managing disk space, processor utilization and network utilization related
to server.
Swap space management.
Monitoring the performance of the system using sar, ps, vmstat, netstat, nfsstat,
rpcinfo and iostat to check the CPU utilization and memory usage.
Creating and administration of Logical Volumes, Physical Volumes using LVM.
Deployed infrastructure using AWS solutions like EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, ELB,
EMR, and Auto scaling groups, Route53, CloudWatch.
Configure CloudWatch dashboards based on custom metrics and provide
detail reports.
Setup and attached EBS volumes to EC2instances.
Deployed EC2 instance architecture to meet high availability application
architecture and security parameters.
Managing users and groups using the amazon identity and access
management(IAM).
