Summary
Having started programming at eight years old, and my first company at age fifteen, I have over two decades of professional software development experience across many industries. I have led cross-functional teams to craft reliable, impactful, and award-winning user-centric software.
Most recently, I was an advisor at a budding rocket startup. I advised scientists and engineers to make their rocket ground testing systems more reliable, higher resolution, and foolproof.
Previously, I led a small team building safety-critical clinical trial software, under FDA regulation. Before that, I worked at an AI research company, reporting directly to the inventor of IBMs Watson and founder, Dr. David Ferrucci. I worked closely with their scientists to design and build a UI for their AI research machine. The project was successful in both helping scientists gain insight into their system and demonstrating their IP to investors and the academic community.
I have special interests in safety-critical and mission-critical software, UX/HCI, and SDLC/team efficiency. I enjoy learning new domains and working with people from different disciplines. I will help make our software more reliable, our team more efficient, and our work more predictable.
