Summary

I have been working at Mastercard for most of my career. During my time here, I have been working primarily with Node.js for server-side (back-end) programming/development. Some of the technologies that I have a lot of experience with are Node.js, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Cloud Providers (AWS/Azure), HSMs (Hardware Security Modules), and Linux operating systems. With this tech stack, some of the major accomplishments I have include:

- Migration from on-premise hosted applications to the cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Development of Node.js RESTful APIs that see more than one billion requests per month.
- Expansion of our systems to other countries to increase global reach.
- Development of an x509 certificate management platform that cut down the SSL certificate request process from days to hours.
- Development of an automated system to manage client key material for encrypting client's sensitive data using RabbitMQ, Redis, and Node.js.
- Development of a containerized workspace for getting new members on the team quickly up to speed and working efficiently.
- Annual PCI DSS review of our applications to ensure that our client's information is secure and handled correctly.
- Moved from Associate Engineer to Lead Software Engineer in roughly five years.

Expectations

I would like to work with a team that takes my work as seriously as I do to name the first thing. Most importantly, I am looking for work that is either focussed in application security or backend RESTful API development. Some other roles that I would be interested but not primarily looking for are TPM (Technical Project Manager), DevOps, or Engineering Manager.
