Summary

I have over 18 years of experience in web development in general. Over the years I have adapted to the latest technologies and trends and continue to grow as a developer.

My latest role as a Lead Front-end Software Engineer from Losant has allowed me to grow as a team leader. I managed a small group of developers of various levels to support them when implementing new User Interface (UI) features of the Internet of Things (IoT) platform.

The platform allowed customers to connect their IoT devices and process the state of their devices using Losant's workflow engine and to build data visualization dashboards. I also took part in adding new UI features, conducted code reviews, took care of technical debt, and enforced testing best practices.

In addition, I worked closely with the Director of Product to build a Design System. Finally, I worked closely with the Chief Technical Officer to ensure constant communication of team and feature work status.

I am knowledgeable with popular libraries and frameworks such as React, React Testing Library, Redux, Vue.js, Vuex, Angular, and Storybook. I am strongly proficient in JavaScript/Typescript, CSS/SCSS, and HTML. I am very capable in using webpack as a build tool to bring it all together.

Expectations

I am looking to continue to grow as a team leader and as a developer with individuals that are excited about building enterprise web applications in any industry. I would like to have some level of autonomy over my work and processes. I expect to be fully engaged with the team and the product I am building.
