Summary

I have been working in the Software Engineering Field for almost two decades. During that time Ive acted both as a developer as well as a mentor and instructor. I enjoy mentoring others as I feel it offers me new insight into my craft as well as the ability to raise up new software engineers that value best practices.

I received my Masters in Information Technology with an emphasis in Information Assurance and Security from Capella University and shortly thereafter attained my Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential. I know that I can bring my knowledge and passion for passing that knowledge on to others to this position.

Expectations

I want to lead a team of engineers to develop high quality backend software solutions. I prefer teams with an eye for quality with CI/CD and high confidence through testing. I want to stay in the code more than 50% of the time.
