Junior Web Developer

Summary

From July 2022 to 2023 I worked as a junior front-end developer at a health care related company. There, I completed multiple features using primarily HTML, CSS, Svelte (if you are unfamiliar, it is a front-end framework similar to React), and JavaScript. It also gave me a familiarity with AEM and Jenkins. We used Agile methodology on my team.

Being a junior level developer, the bulk of my stories were WCAG related or patching cosmetic defects. I had a few bigger projects which I can talk about in greater detail if contacted, but while I was there I was asked about them by coworkers from other teams regularly.

This was my first software development role, so I have one year of experience professionally. Prior, I was in college for some time before enrolling in a full stack Java boot camp.

Expectations

I would like to be given responsibility and a steady workload of stories- sometimes at my previous job I would have a week where there weren't any suitable for me, or the ones suitable for me could be completed too quickly. I like having things to do throughout the day.
