Summary

I initially picked up Java while I was in university and spent a great deal of time learning about it and building programs to accomplish small tasks. For my internship, I was a recruited by a local bank and tasked with network troubleshooting, as well as IT support issues.

When I completed my studies, I was recruited by a start-up company as a junior backend engineer. The company projects were written in C# which I managed to learn on the fly. As a team, we managed to build and test numerous applications that were received well by the end user. Despite, having the .NET Framework in my toolkit, I still use Java on my personal exploratory projects.

Expectations

My primary expectation from my new job is to learn. I find learning easier in a team-based environment where the are people from diverse backgrounds. I would like to see myself improve at a professionally, as well as personally. I would hope that my new job would foster relationships would help me accomplish my tasks the best way possible.
