Summary

Currently working as an independent contractor for a FAANG company working in Big Data.
My day to day work includes working in Java, React, Python, Typescript, Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Kafka and multiple AWS services.
I have created multiple ETLs, Kafka consumers as well as small architecture designs where speed and complexity was key, and can proudly say that they are still being used today.
I have also accelerated our main Step function execution from more than an hour to under half an hour.

Expectations

Tasks that are more backend / devops oriented rather than frontend as I am currently a full stack developer handling multiple parts of the system.
