Junior Software Engineer
Summary
I would like to think that my previous professional experiences equip me with the soft skills necessary to thrive as a software engineer. I have led non-profits, had joyful years in front of the camera in television broadcasting, have interacted with the public extensively through government service, and have developed a knack for conveying the mission of the organization that I am representing. I can be happy coding in a room all by myself, but also appreciate when my routine includes interaction with real people. I know that there remains much for me to learn, and I am looking for a role that celebrates deep dives into documentation and the adventure of trying new things.
Expectations
I am looking for a Junior Software Engineering / Software Development position that is React focused, recognizing that I have a solid JS foundation as a graduate of one of the leading bootcamps, but also understanding that I continue to be a work in progress. I find myself highly ambitious, ready to hit the ground running, and capable of solving problems on my own. I don't know all the answers, but I have a good idea most of the time for where to start looking.
