Junior Software Developer
Summary
I've been working in Learning and Development for the past four years and in 2021 I decided that I wanted a change. I've always been interested in tech and coding is something I've always felt drawn to but never known where to start. I recently completed a one year diploma in full stack software development. During the course, I've become skilled in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Python. I've also gained experience using popular libraries and frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery and Django. I put my heart and soul into studying and learning everything I could whilst working full time. I graduated the diploma with distinction which I'm extremely proud of. I've also had some team experience competing in hackathons during which I took roles as an active developer and scrum master.
Expectations
I'm looking for a role where I can continue to develop. I'm really pleased with where my skills are at but I want to test them in a commercial environment. Whilst salary is always a factor in any role, I'm more interested in working for a business that can develop me and teach me new skills.
