Junior Product Manager

Summary

As you know, the product/project field is divided into branches;
product manager, project manager, product owner and product specialist, and the duties of each of them are actually different.
But in the company I worked before, since we were a team of 18 people, product management/project management etc. I can say that they were walking together.

I think I can explain it much better by talking about how it works;
As we are a mobile game company, our design teams first hold an ideation meeting with a new game idea and leave the meeting with several different game ideas on common ground.
Afterwards, the designers present their game ideas to me as the project manager and the product owner.
The product owner, myself and the design team decide which idea or ideas to turn into projects through user-oriented consultation in line with trends.
The design team then documents their ideas.
In line with the documentation, we attend the project meeting with the necessary developer and artist.
At the end of the meeting, we create a roadmap separately with both the development and art teams, make plans and set a deadline.
It is extremely important to plan and organize in line with this planning, especially when there is more than one project.
After the roadmap creation meeting, the project is officially started.
I was the person responsible for general project follow-up, task follow-up, difficulties and disruptions encountered within the project, and deadlines.
In other words, if there were any disruptions or problems, the teams had to report them to me, because I was the person who had to produce solutions or revise the planning.
Apart from these, who is dealing with which task in each project or who is doing which modelling, who is at what stage, where we may encounter problems due to person or system, what these problems disrupt, what precautions we do not take, etc. I would follow these carefully.
I have always preferred to progress in line with agile methodologies, and for this reason, I was the person responsible for daily scrum and weekly sprint meetings.
To summarize; I think that project managers and product managers or product specialists have an extremely important key role in projects.
Roadmap creation and planning with the people responsible for the project, delivery of the projects on time - on the planned date, testing, marketing process, etc. - everything must proceed extremely carefully and in a planned manner.
