Summary

I am an enthusiastically Linux fanatic experienced in service configuration and troubleshooting. I have experience in installing and implementing software on Linux with in-depth knowledge of installing Linux Based networks (NFS, FTP, HTTP, KICKSTART, and PXE boot). I have also worked on the configuration and troubleshooting of servers like RAID, DNS, Postfix (SMTP, POP3, IMAP), and setting up of LAMP architecture based on Apache, MySQL & PHP in a Clustering environment (DRBD+Heartbeat). Implementation of securities like Firewall, TCP Wrappers, Pam, SSH, Linux-box. vulnerability, scanners Monitoring, and Centralizing sys-log server on Linux box is also part of my repertoire.

Expectations

I consider myself to be the best contender for this post, because my contribution to company will be based on my professional experience and academic exposure. My goal is to automate what can be automated, so that everything works rock solid and I have the time to explore new techniques and tools that might result in even better automation. My specialties are Linux, Configuration Management, Automation, LoadBalancing, Open Source, Cloud Computing, sharing knowledge.
