Summary
I took time off after retiring from the Army to focus on my health and well-being. After that, I moved to Charleston, South Carolina, to attend The Citadel Military College, where I earned a bachelor's degree in Intelligence and Security Studies with a concentration in Counterintelligence and a minor in Cyber Interdisciplinary Studies. I then traveled to Augusta, Georgia, where I earned my Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity from Augusta Technical College. I finished my final semester in December 2022 and will graduate in June 2023.
In June 2013 to July 2016, I was a Senior Level Information Technology Manager where I did the following:
Superbly executed and manage the services desk remedy ticket system for 18 units throughout Reginal Command (South) Afghanistan as the System Administrator for over 10,000 users
Provided world-class 24-hour helpdesk operations for three separate networks (Sipr, Centrix, Nipr) with only two Soldiers and two Civilian Contractors supporting over 1,000 primary users
Flawlessly managed over $4,000,000 of enterprise server and network equipment located in 18 communications closets across the Reginal Command (South) compound
Successfully managed over 15 Public Key Infrastructure Trusted Agents in Reginal Command (South) in preparation for Combined Joint Area-Afghanistan transition to SIPR Enterprise E-mail
In May 2010 to June 2013, I was a Senior Level Information Manager where I did the following:
Oversaw a team to setup the Commands Modular Digital Electronic Warfare and Air and Missile Defense System, enhancing the units mission capabilities
Prepared and developed an Information Management Officer Standard Operational Procedure, ensuring the standardization and continuity of information technology training within the directorate
Supported over 650 users by troubleshooting 537 remedy trouble tickets, imaging over 550 computer systems and creating over 325 user accounts with zero deficiencies
Displayed the mental toughness, stamina, and analytical skills to easily deal with continuous short notice requirements and wide variety of tasking.
In Jan 2008 to May 2010, I was a Master Reference Terminal Shift Supervisor where I did the following:
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Satellite Terminals, Local Area Networks, Active Directory accounts and ensuring Information Assurance standards were met
Expertly trained over eight personnel on the Master Reference Terminal Helpdesk automation systems processes and procedures
Created a step-by-step continuity book to ensure soldiers had a reference point for troubleshooting steps and satellite operations
Supervised the completion of over 1,500 trouble tickets that directly affected the war fighter and their mission throughout Afghanistan
Worked as a Master Reference Terminal shift leader controlling 25 Traffic Terminal teams supplying SIPR, NIPR, CENTRIX and DSN communication supporting units across Operation Enduring Freedom theatre of operations
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting Satellite Terminals, Local Area Networks, Active Directory accounts and ensuring Information Assurance standards were met
