Information Security Engineer

Summary

Nearing the end of my internship as a desktop support representative, I was offered a chance to continue on with the organization as a security analyst intern. I tested and documented azure cloud security solution DLP and MIP and developed security policies for the solutions that would later be implemented in production. I also am an exceptional shell scripter using python and PowerShell. I have developed scripts to deliver api data to our seim. My second IT experience was in healthcare where I controlled access to the EPIC EHR application USING classes that held attributes that granted granular access to certain functions. I also participated regularly in our change management program using built in ci/cd versioning and release tooling. I also performed incident response duties handling issues arising from email, endpoint, and firewall alerts.

Expectations

I'm looking for a home, I would like to find my forever job. This would require a clear path of progression, competitive salary, good benefits, and work life balance. I love learning new concepts and I think that a company that invests in it's employees knowledge through certification programs, and training would be a great fit for me as I am thirsty for knowledge and structure.
