Human Resources Generalist
Summary
In my previous roles, I was responsible for providing employees with information on different aspects of their pay, benefits, and company policies. I am knowledgeable on almost the full recruiting scope, such as: posting job ads, sifting through resumes, phone screenings, scheduling interviews between interview panel participants and candidates, crafting offer letters, then integrating into the companys HRIS system. I was also the point person for any type of leave of absence, most noticeably, FMLA. I ran payroll twice a month for both hourly and salary, I adjusted paychecks for any type of reimbursement, retro-pay, bonuses, you name it. I was also responsible for clarifying issues between managers and employees, compliance training (anti-harassment and wage and hour laws), and keeping a seal of confidentiality. I prided myself in providing excellent customer service to managers and employees. I became efficient at prioritizing tasks and knowing when to escalate issues.
