Defining Silicon RoT (Root of trust) or PRoT (Platform Root of trust) scope and requirements for new platforms.
- Secured boot, measured boot, attestation
Defining required Cryptographic Algorithms (RSA, ECDSA, PQC, SHA, AES) based on NIST and product requirements
Establishing PKI policies and certificate chain, defining signing requirements, provisioning requirements for silicon.
Defining Boot policies from ROM all the way to trusted boot into OS
Establishing Threat models, penetration testing, certifications and third part security reviews.
Expectations
Building Security infrastructure from ground up for new silicon platforms. Defining security scope, building defense in depth strategy, laying out PKI requirements, consulting on security best practices, following NIST, threat models, external security reviews
