Graduate Software Engineer

Summary

I was an industry award nominated change and improvement practitioner, with experience creating and user acceptance testing requirements in Agile software projects and 8 years management experience. For the last few years I have been working toward a change in career to Software Engineering, teaching myself and also working on a Masters degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) which is nearly finished, so now looking for roles.

A full skill breakdown from my prior roles is available, however key skills for the roles I am now looking for are:
- 2 years of experience (evidenced through personal projects and university assessments) with Python (incl. Flask Backend), PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Kotlin and some Java.
- Limited experience (personal development activities only) with React / NodeJS.
- 2 years commercial experience coding/maintaining RPA-style robots in VBA.

Expectations

I know what I was able to achieve and the reputation I built in my prior roles and know the value I can bring to an organisation, but I also know that when changing career there is likely to be a need to 'pay my dues' and start again somewhat and I'm prepared for that.
