I have a truly interdisciplinary background with geology, petroleum engineering and data analysis. I currently hold a research scientist as geomechanical expert in Chevron, where I perform research various geomechanics related issues in the industry. Having worked with a broad range of numerical methods and coding language such as python and C++, I have leaded the study on modeling and analysis of coupled THM processes in multiple fields.
Some of my research projects have focused on developing numerical modeling workflow of 3D numerical simulation for fluid flow, heat transfer, mechanics and their couplings in fractured systems. My projects also include analyzing and estimating coupled processes between rock geomechanical response and fluid flow, including multi-phase flow, and the simulation of dynamic fracture initiation and propagation in unconventional reservoirs. My projects also deliver direct applications such as wellbore stability, hydraulic fracturing and CO2 injection
