Gameplay Programmer

Summary

I just finished my Bachelor's degree in Videogame Programming with concentration in Unreal Engine C++.

I have worked on multiple student projects:

---For my final Advanced Videogame C++ course I created a mini-game called "Box Destroyer" where you destroy moving boxes that
shoot projectiles. There were health and ammo pickups, invincibility pickups, and infinite ammo pickups. I programmed the A.I.
in Blackboard Components and BPs, the gameplay in C++, and the UI in Blueprints.

---In Capstone-2 I helped develop a game called "Cybernaut", a 2D platformer. As the A.I. Programmer and Game Programmer I used blueprints. Cybernaut is a mini hack and slash game where you have to kill enemies using projectiles and a sword until you reach the final boss.
---I also was a member of another student project for a Game Jam called "Purgatory". In this game you hop along platforms. The main
character has original textures, animation and a basic dash function. This was created in Blueprints; I was the gameplay programmer for
this project.

---I am currently creating an FPS using C++, Behavior Trees/Blackboard Components, for the
UI I am using Blueprints. This game is called the The Leadgiver you are a police officer in a derelict part of town killing the bad guys who killed your fellow officers. You have the ability to carry multiple weapons, as well as slow time
and dismember your enemies and slow down time which were created in C++.

Expectations

My expectations are to collaborate with a team of game developers in order to accomplish a single goal in creating a well done video game.
I am looking to work on G.A.S. Gameplay Ability Systems in the game industry while importing animations, sound cues and other assets into the game itself. I would prefer to create those systems in C++ and to be treated fairly, and with respect.
