Summary

With my prior experience in the anthropology/environmental field, I have gained demonstrated skills in research and problem analysis. I have grown fond of software development and decided to make a career switch. My experience has taught me to look at every possible solution when facing tough problems. I enjoy watching my ideas come to life and I am always eager to figure out how stuff works. I am proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, Express, and Python. I take pride in my ability to learn anything fairly quickly. If your company uses a tech stack I am not familiar with I can and am willing to learn it.

Expectations

Some expectations for my new job are that I will get to be a part of the full development cycle. I would like an environment where team members mentor each other and have pair programming sessions. I would also prefer a friendly and open-door work environment for example being able to meet with my superiors when I have questions.
