Summary

Hello,
I've worked for about 2 years remotely as Full Stack Developer for a startup. Before that I worked for about 2 years doing my own app projects which included a game and a file uploading/storing software. I love programming. My favorite languages are Python and Javascript. I've touched the following languages in the past C, C++, Java, as well as old fashioned Basic and Pascal. At a previous company I've primarily worked with Flask, React and MySql for a REST type of musical project. I've also dealt with Agile, Scrums, WordPress, AWS, Git, GitHub, CI/CD as well as a number of other interesting code-related technologies.

I am self taught via books, Udemy courses, online forums and docs. I have some managerial experience although I am not looking for a managerial position per se. Ideally, I'd like a full time position as a Full Stack Developer. I am based in Eastern Standard time zone aka EST. I might agree for a contract work as well if it sounds very interesting.

Currently, I am collaborating on a non-paid and small AI involving project which uses Python, DeepAI, and YoutubeAPI.

I don't usually talk of achievement, but since it's the norm nowadays, I'll mention a few. I am hard working, reliable and moderately social person who managed to change careers successfully a few times. I've studied in a very competitive PhD program in the U.S. for instance. I've taught people various subjects too. I like helping others. The best company for me would be the one that values their employees, fosters good sense of comradery, has responsive management, and treats workers humanely. I am available for work immediately.

Expectations

I'd like to have the following: good collaborative climate, ability to take time off to avoid burn out, responsive management, fully remote, interesting project(s). Ideally W2 form but contract work could be okay.
