Summary

I am a full-stack developer and I aim to create authentic and accessible web applications. I have an eye for design and I like to use my artistic nature to develop creative solutions to technical challenges.

I am a fast learner, quick decision maker, and top-notch collaborator. On a team, I tend to act as the organizer. I am incredibly process-oriented and I live to turn concepts and ideas into action steps. Ultimately, I strive to create an atmosphere of order and harmony where the whole team can thrive.

Beyond my technical skills, I am very passionate about animal welfare and spend a great deal of my time volunteering for the Galveston Island Humane Society. I foster neonatal kittens (aka bottle babies), instruct the New Volunteer Orientation, assist with fundraising efforts, and pretty much anything else the shelter staff needs.

Expectations

I am looking for a remote-first job on a small to medium sized team. I am a full-stack developer, but I can happily work in a solely frontend or backend role. I love team collaboration, but I always appreciate the chance to work independently and autonomously.
