Summary

Immediately after graduating from General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive, General Assembly hired me to serve as an Instructional Associate for the same course, demonstrating their confidence in my technical and interpersonal skills. As a result, I guided students toward becoming job-ready full stack developers with understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, Express, MongoDB, React, Python, Django, Postgres, Angular, and more.

Deployed 4 full stack web applications during said Software Engineering Immersive, including a SAG Background Actor Wage Calculator. That app calculates the expected wages for a day of work as a union background performer, taking into account the complex web of union wage rules related to being an extra in the NYC TV/Film region. The app was built with a MEAN tech stack in 2 weeks, despite no previous knowledge of Angular, demonstrating my ability to learn and implement complex new tech quickly.

Princeton University graduate with pre-tech-career background as an actor, singer, food service/hospitality professional, legal assistant, shipping assistant, and editor (of writing, video, and audio). Strong written and oral communicator. Works well independently or as part of a team. Eager to continue learning. And eager to improve lives through code.
