Summary

I have a broad range of work experience from construction to owning/operating a shoeshine business to managing and performing with a fire troupe. After reaching the top of the industry as a bike mechanic, I decided to switch tracks and taught myself full-stack web development in JavaScript. A few websites and freelance gigs later, I decided to take this newfound love of code and combine it with my mechanical competency by pursuing a degree in mechatronics engineering.

Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical, electrical, computer(/software) and circuitry engineering. I have an immense interest in where the digital world meets with the physical and mechanical worlds - which is where mechatronics really lives. Alongside this technical degree, I am minoring in sociology. This is in response to the conversations being had in how technology is affecting the people it serves.

Aside from my professional and academic life I enjoy riding my bike and the outdoors in general. My music career shares my free time with personal projects and tinkering with cool tech.

Expectations

I am seeking opportunities to grow my experience working with the software side of tech, while I am pursuing my degree in mechatronics engineering. Ideally, I will work with collaborative and communicative teams. Transitioning my professional leadership experiences to the technology industry.
