Summary

Since 2015, I've been constantly pushing my boundaries and setting challenges for myself, especially in the field of software engineering. I've given myself an independent education in computer science that goes far beyond what most universities cover. My personal projects have included developing dozens of 2D gameplay systems (focusing on maximum efficiency for low-end hardware), developing procedural generation algorithms, designing and writing C++ audio plugins, using Python to automate tasks and achieve a higher quality of life, and using JavaScript for web projects. These range from a pixel art application, to simulations and games with AI, to general utilities, and an interactive demonstration of my scalable inventory system for RPGs.

Beyond that, I've focused my priorities on modern web frameworks. My portfolio includes interactive projects demonstrating my knowledge of React and Redux, and I was professionally hired to develop and maintain web components with Svelte. That role also included responsibilities such as QA testing the work of other engineers and fixing their code, porting legacy codebases and overhauling entire APIs, fixing the mistakes of UX designers, converting JS files to TypeScript, writing unit and end-to-end test coverage for functions and webpages, and providing mentorship to new hires.

I also have a variety of certifications from several sources, which list me as an "Expert" and "Highly Proficient" in the top 5% of all potential candidates for technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and overall in the fields of Front-End Software Engineering, Proofreading, and Data Analysis.

Expectations

After being affected by a third round of mass layoffs by my previous employer, I'm simply looking for a company that appreciates the loyalty I will provide to any opportunity that I'm given. I'm not somebody who leaves jobs for higher pay, I really just want stability and the happiness of having something new to do every day. I'm able to excel in any role, as I'm extremely adaptable and can learn anything within a day, and overcoming technological challenges provides me more joy than anything else in life.
