Summary

While completing my Bachelors of Science, I developed a keen interest in software and web development. With advice from my peers I acquired a minor in Computer Science where I additionally got permission to take Object Oriented Programming (which was not available to me in my faculty) and I was able to successfully complete the course and lead me to take on a position where I worked mainly in the front-end for about 2.5 years until I was laid off alongside my team. At this position, I was trusted to lead the charge in adopting SCSS and a better file organizational structure based on a combined atomic and 7-1 file architectural design for an internal project and was successful in tackling the technical debt that had built up in the project.
