Summary

Hi! Im a software developer, currently in Turing's front-end development program, that is well-versed in JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML, CSS and SASS. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, racing mountain bike enduros and snowboarding. Colleagues have described me as highly motivated, methodical, and collaborative. I enjoy connecting with my teammates and especially those with contrasting backgrounds to my own. I firmly believe that the best solutions come from a diverse and cohesive team.

The interest I have in web development comes from my belief that an impressive web presence is absolutely imperative for a business to succeed. As a former marketing professional and product owner, I developed strengths in project management with cross-functional teams, web content management and leading a development team in an Agile environment. I enjoy growing my skillset through the ever-evolving challenges that the development process presents.

I believe my purpose as a developer is to create a user experience thats as positive and seamless as it can be. I have grown to be passionate about understanding and wowing" the customer by building an intuitive and attractive UI, guiding them to exactly what they are looking for. I would like to make an impact in my future role with the skills that I bring from being on the other side of web development, as a stakeholder and marketer, to deliver a product that our customers will be thrilled with.

Expectations

I am looking for a remote position or a job local to Boulder, CO that does not require in office hours. I certainly am open to occasional office visits regardless of where the company is headquartered. I love meeting coworkers in person but know that remote work is what is best for me.

I would love to work in a position that has some level of design and creativity. I enjoy working directly with the customer to help craft exactly what they are looking for.
