Summary

At my recent role at Micro Focus, I worked on the Products - Vertica Accelerator and Vertica Management Console. Worked on code migration from JSP to React. Implemented error handling scenarios in the product. Integrated flask based APIs. Collaborated with a large team consisting of developers, testing engineers and DevOps Engineers, along with a scrum master and a Product Manager. Learned deployments over AWS Cloudformation, Amazon EC2, Azure and GCP cloud platforms. Learned how to write AIO test cases for a Jira ticket, implemented good programming conventions like writing unit test cases before pushing the code to master branch, ran pipelines over Bitbucket for refreshing the development jumphost. Ran Jenkins pipeline for generating builds like RPM files, which were later on provided to a QA engineer for testing. Suggested UI changes to the Product manager and implemented them in the product. Created reusable components like dropdowns, tables with pagination, Modals etc in React to be used in two different products.

Expectations

Looking forward to working in a fast-pace environment in which there is always at least something to work upon and also I get more technologies to learn when it comes to solving more complex problems that require knowledge out of my skill set.
