Summary

I completed a physics degree at age 16, and began studying computer programming to build my own ideas. Since 2012 I've worked as a front end developer in javascript - then in angularJS, now in React - and occasionally as a full stack dev using nodeJS and AWS cloud. My preference in developing for cloud is in the serverless framework (lambda, etc).

I've worked in startups, cyberdefense, aerospace, and at AWS.

Additionally I teach javascript through my amutah here in Israel. I consider my students getting hired as developers to be my greatest achievement, and none less than the students who wrote their first line of code in my class.

Expectations

I'd like a job that doesn't follow me home. Something where my skills are well applied, my teammates are easygoing, the management respects my expertise; we get good code written, design and build a product that works well and has some reasonably moral purpose.

I expect to not work for hhol hamoed (the week of the weeklong hhagim), along with shabbat and hhagim of course.

I've been volunteering since returning to Israel last October, I'm looking to continue doing so one day per week. I'm comfortable fitting full-time hours into 4 days per week.

Some offices like running javascript classes for other workers, or public meetups. I like running those!
