Summary

As a customer support hiree at a startup software company, I quickly became an integral part of the team, utilizing my technical skills to contribute to the success of the company and proficiency of my team.

One of my major responsibilities was on-boarding new companies to our software platform. I successfully on-boarded over 30 companies, providing them with technical support through various channels such as email, phone, and chat. I resolved customer issues promptly and ensured their satisfaction, building strong relationships with clients and reviewed their status weekly, earning a reputation for excellent customer service.

In addition to customer support, I took on additional responsibilities that involved software development. I assisted in the creation of custom HTML/CSS templates for clients to customize the appearance of their email communications. Aside from my work, I started learning software development on the side. I embarked on several projects using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, and Prisma. These projects allowed me to further develop my skills in front-end and back-end technologies, as well as gain experience in working with databases and utilizing modern frameworks and libraries. I leveraged my spare time to continuously improve my coding skills, stay updated with the latest industry trends, and hone my abilities as a full stack developer.

Overall, my experience as a customer support has been incredibly rewarding. I have gained valuable hands-on experience in software development, HTML/CSS templating, and important communication skills, while also contributing to the success of the company through performant customer support. I am proud of my achievements and look forward to further advancing my career as a full stack developer, utilizing my diverse skill set and passion for coding.
