I was headhunted by Teneo Online School to be their French International GCSE and Junior
High French teacher. I create content and lessons for my students, setting tests and exams as
well. We have weekly live classes in which the students join, and they have access to the notes
that I create and upload to their student portal (Canvas).

I was headhunted to teach at the Pearson Online Academy (Global), teaching students who are
completing their International GCSE qualification, whilst working on my content creation at
Valenture Institute for the St. Stithians Online School vertical. My contract ended due to the
closure of the school.

School Online, whilst working on my content creation at Valenture Institute for the St. Stithians
Online School vertical, as well as teaching at Pearson Online Global Academy.

French Teacher and Content Developer at Valenture Institute on the St. Stithians Online School
vertical. Remote work/Work-from-home
Description: I was working as a Junior High and International GCSE French Teacher at
Valenture Institute. For the first year, I had been hosting live session classes with my students,
where they would come to me with any further questions, they might have related to the content
in their learning path. The students had to follow a flipped-classroom method, in which they
would need to interact with the content first, and then come to class where the content will be
retaught, and any questions they might have will be answered. Our students were also given the
opportunity to book an Office Hour with me, where we will then have a one-on-one session to go
through the work together.
With the untimely closing of the SSOS (St. Stithians Online School), and with the number of
students that had to change schools, I had to change roles due to decreased class sizes and I then
moved over to creating French educational content for the students who will be completing their
qualification this year in June whilst my colleague continues with our small group of students.
Unfortunately, the company had to retrench a handful of people due to the untimely closing, thus
my contract ended with them on the 28th of February 2023.

Description: I have tutored students of various backgrounds. I have tutored students who have
just started their French journey, up until students who are completing their high school careers,
as well as assisting with AS-Level students in preparation for their exams. I often give my
students extra resources to work through after each lesson, in order to practice the skills, we
worked on in said session. This helps the student apply the knowledge in a way that they will
retain the information better.

Description: I worked as a waitress (often head waitress) at River Meadow Manor, Centurion. I
assisted in various types of functions by taking drink orders, serving food, talking to customers,
and ensuring a smooth experience was had by all the guests. I would ensure that the waiters
would keep the tables clean, take drink orders, and to keep the general morale high. I aided in the
serving of buffet style food, as well in serving set menus to our customers. I would often also
help in the setup and decoration in preparation for events.
