Summary

I completed my Master of Finance degree at the University of California Riverside and graduated this December. For the summer, I worked as a Finance Intern at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. During my time at Marriott, my projects included analyzing the variances in the P&L statements, identifying the inflationary trends, analyzing the forecasts for the upcoming year, and preparing month-end journal entries for financial statement reconciliation. I have also worked as a Business Consultant Intern for the National Science Foundation where I led a team of 3 and assisted startups in developing their business model and managing their finances. I have also worked as a treasurer for the UCR programming Club where I have prepared budgets, maintained cost and expense reports, and helped raise funds. Additionally, I have been a member of the Hylander Student Investment Fund where I have used the DCF model to forecast future revenues of companies and managed a stock portfolio for the business school.

Expectations

I recently completed my Master's in Finance from the University of California Riverside and was looking for full-time Financial Analyst roles. As a financial analyst, I expect to be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to assist in making sound business decisions. I anticipate using my financial modeling and forecasting skills to evaluate the performance of various investments and assets. I also expect to be involved in the preparation of financial reports and presentations to communicate my findings to management and stakeholders.
I look forward to working closely with other finance team members to identify trends and areas for improvement. Additionally, I expect to be continuously learning about new financial tools and technologies to improve my analysis and stay current in the field.
