Summary

I started out in environmental consulting where I specialized in coordinating with construction site staff to ensure compliance with New York State Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. This involved field inspections, taking samples in different environmental media, drafting up reports for the clients and the DEC, in addition to communicating with labs, site workers, and even additional environmental consultants. The main site I did this work was at LaGuardia Airport during its renovation activities.

Other experiences I have had the pleasure of doing include plant operations and maintenance, EHS compliance, hazardous materials handling, and fulfilling regulations made by the DOT and EPA. My favorite achievement has been my work at the Old Bethpage Groundwater Treatment Plant where by myself I maintained the facility and its EHS compliance. During my time there I improved the comprehensive EHS inspections by incorporating monthly checks with the sites emergency contacts to ensure preparedness in case of a major accident. In addition I helped organized contractor work for the repair of a site pumping station that needed various obstacles removed.

Personally I love the construction environment the most for the human contact but I have had enough experience to take pleasure in different settings for employment.

Expectations

I am looking for stability and opportunity to grow and showcase my abilities in new employment. I would like to have human contact with workers if possible though I am not opposed to remote aspects if they arise.
