Entry-Level Software Engineer
Summary
During my undergraduate studies, I interned in the power plant industry as an Electrical Engineering student where I worked with a team to ensure the efficient operation of a gas independent power plant (IPP). It improved my ability to plan projects, solve problems, manage risks, operate a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, and communicate effectively.
Shortly after completing my undergraduate degree, I took a graduate trainee position with an energy company where I developed and put to use my knowledge of solar system design, team management, Customer interaction, project presentation, and planning.
My Major achievement was earning a first-class degree in electrical engineering.
My bachelors program was quite a rewarding experience as it equipped me with a lot of technical, interpersonal, and personal skills which included; patience, decision-making, timeliness, communication, MATLAB, and C Programming.
Expectations
My new job expectation are; safe working environment where I can contribute to the team, feel recognised for my efforts, have a stable employment with room to advance, work with competent co-workers, adequate start-up and consistent trainings , convenient work hours and well defined job roles.
