Summary

I was formerly a remote freelancer and Software Engineer Consultant based in Chicago. My main area of expertise has been web application development focusing on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Python, Flask, and JS APIs. I have previously been part of agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative teams and environments that promote ownership and innovation. I strive to create high-quality and scalable software; ci/cd and test-driven development are some of my passions. My goal as a Software Engineer is to create experiences for users that are delightful to increase user retention and product growth.

Expectations

Ive been honing my skills as a full-stack developer, and Im looking for a position where I can continue to exercise those skills and act as either a full-stack or front-end developer focusing on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Python. As a former freelancer and consultant, I want to join an agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative team. As someone early in their career, mentorship, an environment that promotes ownership, and delivering impactful and valuable features are essential to me. Software development practices Im passionate about include CI/CD and test-driven development, and Im looking for a team that practices these methodologies.
