Summary

After over 15 years in the fashion designing industry, I have decided to pursue a career in IT.
I have worked really hard to get here.
I am now an entry level Cybersecurity Analyst, recently completed my Google Cybersecurity certificates courses, this is a rigorous, skill-based program that covers key cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
I am also a re/start AWS cloud practitioner, with just 2 weeks From completing my bootcamp. I have also registered for my AWS cloud practitioner exam. I am really working hard towards getting this.
I am enthusiastic about advancing in this career, I have some knowledge in programming languages such as Linux and Python, SQL query Language.
I am knowledgeable on key cybersecurity functions and procedures such as NIST security frameworks, security life cycle, OWASP top 10 security foundation, CIA triad,, network security , cloud network and security, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, security hardening, threat modelling, the use of organizations playbook in documenting incidents, incident escalation and response and Ethical Hacking.
I am particularly interested in becoming a SOC analyst. I am highly drawn to defence Security
I am also knowledgeable in Cloud Computing with my Re/start AWS Cloud certificate earned, and my cloud practitioner certification in progress. I like to study, learn, be self-taught, also learn from other people. I have strong communication and problem solving skills. I am a good team player.
My other life experiences add up as my soft skills that molds me into who i am today.
My core values and principles align with cybersecurity tenets, which is why it is my first go to when it comes my career change into the IT world.
