Embedded Software Engineer

Summary

Throughout my career so far, I have gained valuable experience in many different work and coding environments - from creating general user applications in C# and XAML in the energy industry to working on innovative medical devices using C++. I graduated in April 2022 with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering and a concentration in autonomous systems and two internships with different companies. My experiences have helped me to grow into a fast and adaptable learner.
- I am most experienced with embedded software engineering in C++, C, and VHDL. I also have extensive experience using C#, Python, Lua, and XAML.
- I helped design and implement improvements and error handling for a medical IV compounding robot, where I made use of advanced C++ features with respect to concurrency and automation. I also performed extensive defect investigations and automated test design.
- I have also built a cryptographic security VHDL IP core from scratch for the MAC layer of the TCP/IP protocol for a network switch. This involved a major refactoring of a encryption library written in C for use in Vivado HLS for FPGAs.
