Embedded Software Engineer

Summary

While at Georgia Tech, I was on a number of research teams, including the RANGE and TARGIT cube satellite projects as an Imagery and Optics Subsystem Specialist. My role included leading a team to create an ArduCAM/Tinyduino based module that would take images and send them to the flight computer, where they were processed to determine attitude and positioning. I was also on an aquabotics team developing a system of swarming underwater robots. In this role I led development of the control stack, which included a Pixhawk flight controller, raspberry pi, and PixyCAM.
My personal projects have included work with custom quadcopters, home automation devices, and building computers in odd enclosures (bookcase, old iMac g4, etc).
Since graduating, I've gained industry software experience working for Adobe on their generative AI tools.

Expectations

My ideal job is working on a team that is passionate about experimenting with robotic and embedded systems. I love prototyping new concepts, pushing the bounds of hobbyist components (or creating new components), and building systems that inspire.
