Summary

Lead two distributed teams [a team of 10] with cloud systems & developer experience focus

Developed & implemented a platform engineering strategy for an engineering org of 100; we take a product approach and provide a portfolio of the following:
- source control (GitHub)
- CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- observability (New Relic)
- cloud platforms (multi-account AWS)
- container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- DNS/Infra protection (Cloudflare)
- The above all managed in a self-service manner, leveraging infra as code!

Product focused internal tooling, so that we know what we provide is the tooling engineering need. Teams can focus on delivering value to the business, instead of configuring systems!

Bringing a FinOps approach to the company, so that we maintain a $10M/yr engineering budget efficiently

Execute cost savings program, saving the business 1.5M annually on cloud spend

Maintain business level relationships with SaaS & PaaS vendors
