Summary

I am an Operations Infrastructure Leader with 10+ years of experience building and operating production workloads in public and private clouds, using various IaC languages and Kubernetes to orchestrate workloads, and managing global teams and vendors. I also have expertise in developing and implementing IT strategies and roadmaps, managing budgets and resources, and driving operational excellence with newly emerging technologies in a safe and stable manner. I have been an avid Linux user for over fifteen years and explored many different sides of the operating system, including supporting the build process and cryptographic code signing for an embedded Linux handheld device. I have had the opportunity to take part in, and watch, the Linux and Open Source community progress through physical servers, to virtual servers, to Docker, and now to Kubernetes. I believe this gives me a unique outlook and allows me to analyze projects against a broad set of knowledge and experiences.

Expectations

I would like to be surrounded by people who are not just getting the job done, but are also creating a great atmosphere in the process. I feel I thrive best in environments where I have the resources and support I need to achieve the best outcomes for the company, both in terms of short term project delivery, and department longevity and resilience.
