Summary

I spent 10 years in New York City public charter schools as a special education teacher and coordinator, and then later as a special class setting founder and director and assistant principal. I then worked for an ed tech startup specializing in corporate and tech apprenticeships for underrepresented populations, facilitating support for apprentices with soft skill development and creating curriculum and other resources.
I also have worked as an adjunct professor of special education at the graduate level on a part-time basis for 8 years, engaged in special education consulting for various school districts, and coached youth soccer for 12 years.
I have a masters degree in special education and a NYSED certification as a secondary special education generalist, and a masters degree in educational leadership with a NYSED school building leader certification.
