Director of Data Analytics

Summary

Lead the development of an enterprise data strategy to migrate away from a bottleneck centralized data management team to a distributed data mesh model, helping business consume data in a more efficient and effective method. I accomplished this effort by presenting to all levels of the enterprise, collaborating and leading the cross-functional teams to ultimately receive complete buy in and begin developing new patterns of data architecture and data responsibility to improve data. This effort included developing an MDM platform (unifying 18 unique source systems) and a Data Governance program.

Expectations

I am seeking a role which empowers me to develop new data functions and capabilities which will help the company's customers get more value than ever before. I would like to lead and develop a team to help build new data insights, collaborating with stakeholders to help drive their objectives forward with improved data consumption and partnership. I lead with a Product mindset, I would like to continue to do so in my next role, as this helps me identify gaps and build tiger teams to help fill the gaps. I enjoy creating Master Data Management solutions, along with analytical insights through visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI.
I see myself as somewhere between a Technical Product Manager and a Business Architect.
