Summary

In two weeks', I designed, implemented, and managed all elements of the control plane and the worker nodes in a Kubernetes cluster, in addition to containerizing our Springboot applications that will run in the pods, this is moving our project from the monolithic environment to microservices. In this project, we used microservices to build, release and maintain a payment platform application for our Fintech client. the advantage of microservices over a monolithic environment includes; we can develop, update, deploy, and scale features of our application without downtime since each feature is developed independently of the other, This ensures reliability, uptime, and performance of our application, and we used Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and logging, thus improving user experience and increasing the clientele by a margin of 53.7% and 61.8% respectively.
