DevOps Engineer

Summary

I have extensive professional hands-on experience with Azure and AWS services, as well as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Linux, and Helm. I am familiar with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python through some simple scripts, but my expertise lies in Bash scripting, which I consider my strongest skill. I have profound knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD and have also worked with GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions. Additionally, I am very familiar with monitoring infrastructure using the Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager stack and configuring it.

I have limited experience working with Terraform, so I am currently dedicating time to learn more about it. I am also starting to learn Go to write CLI tools efficiently. On my to-do list is a book titled "The Linux Programming Interface" by Michael Kerrisk, which I am eager to start reading since I am a big Linux freak.

My biggest challenge was prioritizing tasks while managing four different productions, three WordPress websites, and a large team. Each day, more than five team members require help or support from DevOps. As the only DevOps professional on these projects, I must plan how to assist everyone while keeping up with my own tasks.

I am always excited to learn and embrace new challenges and practices. I love working in team environments and have a proven track record of collaborating effectively with developers, QA engineers, and designers to implement solutions that meet diverse needs. I am eager to share my knowledge with the team and highlight the benefits of DevOps. My mentorship history is a testament to this.

Expectations

In my next role, I am seeking opportunities to expand my DevOps knowledge. I am passionate about learning new tools and practices and staying at the top of DevOps practices. A collaborative environment is very valuable to me. I enjoy working, learning, and sharing knowledge with other people. Work-life balance is very important to me, as it allows for personal growth alongside professional development. I am excited about roles that offer challenging projects with cutting-edge technologies and the opportunity to improve and manage infrastructure.
