Summary
Configured and maintained the CI/CD pipeline using Terraform, Dockerfile, Jenkinsfile in AWS EKS
and ECS cluster for building the code for Java and Nodejs based applications.
Managed around 4-5 release admin as a backup admin during bi-weekly Blue-Green deployment models for release for different environment(Dev,VAL,PROD)with necessary support and
troubleshooting during the release.
Involved in the Serverless migration project to transition lower environment from ECS(Elastic
Container Service) to EKS(Elastic Kubernetes Service) Fargate and from Cloudformation to
Terraform.
Maintained a pipeline consisting of IAC(Terraform), AWS EKS, Jenkins and handled the deployment
of the microservices and wrote terraform scripts and modules integrating various AWS services.
Created docker containerized application by tagging the images and pushing the images to ECR.
Deployed the UI application build on node.js using npm.
Wrote groovy scripts in Jenkins to create Cloud formation stacks for different environments to
automate infrastructure(NLB, EC2, ENI) etc with integration to Jenkins Pipeline.
Managed AWS infrastructure which includes VPC, EC2, Route53, S3, Cloud Front(CDN), Lambda,
API Gateway, IAM, NLB, Cloud formation, RDS, ECS, EKS.
Involved in the maintenance of configuration management tool Puppet that includes Puppet Master
and Puppet agents and enabling the secure communication between Master and agents.
Automated daily aws tasks like snapshot creation or cleanup of snapshots using python boto3 module
and worked with aws lambda triggers.
Used splunk to monitor the application deployed by analyzing the application and server logs along
with setup of dashboards, reports and alerts.
Troubleshoot and identify root cause for issues and implement corrective accidents for clients.
Worked on the improvement of overall release by creating JIRA stories.
Coordinated with developers and release managers to work on any new task or troubleshooting issues
during release by checking logs in splunk or in the container or server.
Working knowledge in deploying CICD system using Azure Devops using services such as Azure
Repos, Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans to plan, build and coordinate deployed application on Docker
and K8s.
Monthly primary On-call rotation for the network, web, app or database level issues.
