Summary

I have designed an Arduino based automated coating system for my employer that far surpassed their current coating methods. I modified their design from ground-up to get extremely precise coating thickness controls. While I am a mechanical engineer, I have a lot of exposure to electronics. I have worked in a lab environment working with DMMs, Oscilloscopes and Power supplies. I understand the usage of electronics like relays, motors, motor drivers, thermocouples, switches and so on.

I have professional experience with SOLIDWORKS: parts, assemblies, drawings and some GD&T. I know some programming with C. I also know MATLAB, but it's mostly classroom experience. However, I am eager to learn MATLAB and Simulink if it helps.

I have experience in testing which required tester's own discretion or testing methods. In addition to that, I have experience with LabVIEW when it comes to collecting data; however, I am not proficient enough to create an extensive and complicated block diagram. In addition to testing, I am experienced with analyzing data using Excel as well as Excel VBA.

I have experience in commissioning large scale manufacturing equipment. While I am not looking for a position that requires commissioning equipment at the moment, I want to portray that I have extensive hands on experience with large machinery. My aptitude for mechanical, electrical and pneumatical systems is great due to that.

Expectations

I am looking for a place that is dynamic and is working on complicated engineering projects; clearance shouldn't be a problem if needed. Ideally, I want hands-on and office work combined. Hybrid workplace is a plus. 4x10 or 9x80 schedule is ideal. Aerospace industry preferred.
