Database, Web, and Applications Developer
Summary
Developer with experience entailing databases, desktop software, mobile applications, servers, and websites seeking to provide resolutions to your everyday challenges. I have worked on controlled cryptographic communications systems in the military, attended vocational trade school for computer repair and networking, and attended a technical college for computer programming. The character of my discharge is honorable.
Expectations
One of the things that worked for me at Everise was that I am extremely conscientious (good listener) combined with the fact that I had a mechanical keyboard. The clients were confident because they could hear me typing in the tickets. I type incredibly well too.
Their cases were easy to look into because I have three ultra wide monitors that were mounted on a support bar. They provided me with a lot of workspace. I was able to google and confirm everything that they were telling me (e.g. doctors names).
The long days were simple with me working behind a keyboard, video, and mouse switch. I was able to tab out of and into my system. Eight hour days that only offered 4-6 hours of call flow were reduced to 4-6 hour days, overtime wasn't draining, and my personal matters received the attention that they need.
The hearing impaired were possible to work with due to the Plantronics DA80. It puts more emphasis behind my voice. Especially with their voice tube technology.
The VPN Ethernet Router was not useful with Everise. They utilized Fortitoken. There was two factor authentication required to login to their networks. It should help me with my next job by taking the load off the client.
That is a line of work that I do not mind doing again. I would charge twenty dollars per hour because I know exactly how to invest into a home office. A boss isn't going to do that for me. It is easy for me to feel like I have been taken for granted. I need an employer that knows exactly who is working for them and a drama free human resources department.
