Data scientist, data analyst
Summary
I am a data analyst and researcher with a strong background in quantitative analysis and climate science, seeking to transition into industry to contribute to data science and analysis projects at organisations that contribute positively or are vital to society. Currently, I am an energy analyst intern, where I lead the development of statistical products related to the energy sector, design infographics, and improve data handling procedures using Python.
Previously, I held research roles at three prominent universities, where I developed databases on extreme weather events and analyzed climate model biases. My work resulted in significant publications and included supervising student researchers and collaborating with diverse teams. With a Ph.D. in atmospheric science, I have extensive skills in data analysis, visualization, and effective communication.
