Summary

As a data scientist with a Ph.D. in space physics and experience working on computational modeling and advanced analytics projects, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to the table. I have worked with various machine learning techniques, such as logistic regression, SVM, and random forest, and implemented dimensionality reduction techniques like PCA to enhance data collection procedures. One of my major achievements was leading a small research team to develop numerical models to implement Earth's Poloidal mode fields, where I conducted simulations to model Earth's fields and interpreted the behavior of these numerical electromagnetic fields. I also developed validation techniques to identify the level of accuracy of the simulations by an existing TestParticle code up to 90%. Additionally, I have experience working with NASA and performing ETL that ingested event data from one of the in-situ missions of NASA. Overall, my technical skills in data science, data visualization, data cleaning, data manipulation, statistics, and machine learning make me a valuable addition to any team.
