Data Scientist

Summary

I am a recent graduate from the University of Toronto with Masters in Computer Science, and a Vector Scholarship recipient. I have experience working on end-to-end ML projects both in academia and industry. As an R&D intern at SOTI, I developed Computer Vision algorithms (3D Object Detection) for drones. During my masters I worked on multiple applied ML research projects in the areas of Deep Learning, HCI, Reinforcement Learning, NLP and large databases. I have also published a research paper on reducing mobile distraction using NLP methods.

Expectations

I am passionate about solving problems using machine learning algorithms, looking for roles with a steep learning curve and growth opportunities for research and managerial responsibilities. I thrive in a creative, goal-oriented environment and collaborate with people from cross-functional teams.
